Janet Myers (BS '93)
Why did you want to join the Loyola University Chicago Alumni Association Board of Directors, and/or why have you continued for another term?
I chose to join the LUCAA Board because this service truly warms my heart and nourishes my spirit. Serving on the board allows me to give back to an institution that has given me so much. My education at Loyola not only shaped my career in the nonprofit world but also instilled in me a lifelong commitment to making my corner of the world a better place. I’m deeply proud of the students Loyola continues to inspire, and it’s a privilege to support their success, even in a small way. And, of course, one of the best parts is being surrounded by such incredible people in LUCAA!
What is one of your favorite Loyola memories as a student and/or alum?
My favorite Loyola memory was my sophomore year at the John Felice Rome Center in 1989-90.
