Laurie Kladis (JFRC '88 & '94, BA '89, MBA '95)
Why did you want to join the Loyola University Chicago Alumni Association Board of Directors, and/or why have you continued for another term?
I joined the LUCAA Board to give back to the community that has given me so much. Serving on the board allows me to make a real difference and connect with alumni from many different places, all bound by a timeless commonality. Another term is important to me so I can continue the work we’ve started and help see it through.
What is one of your favorite Loyola memories as a student and/or alum?
My favorite memory is spending a year at the Rome Center. I made lifelong friends there who have become like family, and the experiences we shared created lasting bonds. Living at the Rome Center and traveling internationally shaped my perspective on the world, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without it.
