Why did you want to join the Loyola University Chicago Alumni Association Board of Directors and/or why have you continued for another term on the board?

My family, faith, and Jesuit education at Loyola University Chicago are the three greatest influences on my post-graduate accomplishments. Serving on the board allows me to remain meaningfully connected to the University with an emphasis on strengthening young alumni engagement and ensuring that recent graduates benefit from the same foundation and networking relationships that helped shape my journey.

What is one of your favorite Loyola memories as a student and/or alum?

It is difficult to choose just one memory. A Jesuit education in the great city of Chicago created countless meaningful moments.

Two stand out. The first was the day I committed to Loyola. As my dad and I walked across campus during student experience day—attending sessions on the business honors program and study abroad—I could see his smile growing brighter and wider. When he turned to me and said, “Kenzie, I think we made our decision,” I knew I was home.

Years later, as an alumna volunteering with a group of women in my industry, I mentioned that I graduated from Loyola. Every woman in the room shared that she had also received a Jesuit education. It was a powerful reminder that Jesuit schools like Loyola call us to be men and women for others—and that mission endures well beyond graduation.
