Susan Dimock is Director of Loyola University Chicago’s Washington Program. Prior to Loyola, Dr. Dimock served as Interim Director and instructor for the University of Illinois’ Washington, DC, internship program and instructor at the University of California’s Washington Center. Dr. Dimock began her Washington career working on health policy as a Congressional Fellow in the Office of Senator Jack Reed (D-RI). She then worked as the Program Manager and Acting Executive Director at the Jacobs Institute of Women’s Health. Dr. Dimock holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego and a BA in History from Cornell University. She lives in Falls Church, VA with her husband, Michael, and their son, Casey.
