Rachel Guy

Executive Assistant

Born and raised in Oak Park, a vibrant suburb just outside of Chicago, Rachel Guy is a dedicated professional with over a decade of administrative support experience. She currently serves as the Executive Assistant for the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at Loyola University Chicago, where she brings both heart and precision to her role.

Rachel is a proud third-generation Rambler, following her mother and grandfather in graduating from Loyola. She earned her BA from the School of Continuing and Professional Studies in 2018. Before transitioning to the University, she spent over seven years supporting operations at Loyola Medical Center—building a strong foundation in healthcare administration and campus culture.

A passionate connector, Rachel thrives on building relationships, especially within the world of higher education. She co-founded and now chairs Loyola’s first Administrative Support Affinity Group, creating a space for professional growth, collaboration, and community among staff. Her work reflects her deep commitment to inclusive excellence and empowering those around her.
