Wendy Gruhl receives Sujack Award

Advanced Lecturer Wendy Gruhl received one of the Sujack Awards for 2025 Master Teachers, a prestigious award that constitutes the highest academic honor available to faculty in at Loyola’s College of Arts and Sciences. The awards ceremony was held on April 24, 2025.

Gruhl’s students speak highly of her and her dedication to helping students, as evidenced in her nomination itself. The student nominator wrote, “As the advisor for all forensic science majors and a teacher of advanced courses, Professor Gruhl is dedicated to connecting with every student in the program. She welcomes students to visit her during office hours to discuss any topic, whether it’s a personal issue, scheduling assistance, or clarification on course material. She is always eager to help. Despite working on her doctorate..., she continuously goes above and beyond in her commitment to education.”
