Scott Jones

International Student Advisor, DSO/ARO

Scott Jones has been an International Student Advisor at Loyola since 2023. In this role, he serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) for Loyola’s F-1 Student & Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) and Associate Responsible Officer (ARO) for the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program, providing comprehensive and holistic immigration advising and administrative services to international students. Prior to joining ISSS, Scott served as a Visiting Instructor of International Studies at the University of Illinois Chicago and as a Graduate Admissions Counselor at the University of Arizona, where he also earned an MA in Middle Eastern & North African Studies.

Scott is passionately dedicated to accompanying and supporting international students on their journey at Loyola and beyond. When he's not on-campus, he enjoys fishing on Lake Michigan and the Chicago River.
