Mary Daniels, PhD

Assistant Director, Weekend JD Program


Mary Daniels, PhD, joined Loyola in the fall of 2023 to direct the Weekend JD program. She is also part of Student Services and assists with student accommodations, orientation, and leadership workshops and retreats. She is also an adjunct professor at the law school and teaches Philosophical Foundations of Law. Before coming to the law school, she served as Associate Provost at Chicago State University, overseeing program review and accreditation during the pandemic. She served for many years as Associate Dean at the University of Chicago, where she led the development and expansion of international partnerships for programs in business and the arts and sciences. Prior to her career in higher education administration, Dr. Daniels taught political theory at the graduate and undergraduate levels at the University of Notre Dame.
