Davin Campos, a graduate from Senn High School, spent last year participating in the DANA Program for Neuroscience & Society’s after-school workshops, summer ETHOS program and Neuroscience and Society Day

According to Campos, the summer ETHOS experience provided him with valuable networking sources and opportunities to work in a lab. Looking back on his involvement in the neuroscience labs at Loyola, Campos recalled witnessing a real-time surgery and holding the mice during experiments.

“The students at Loyola and the professors that run their labs are amazing people,” Campos said. 

When addressing students who may consider participating in the ETHOS program, Campos said, “Do it. There’s no better way to introduce yourself to the sciences and new, cool people.”

Looking forward, Campos plans to attend the University of Illinois in the Fall of 2025.
