Arzoo Rozani

“It [research] was very inspiring and I know that’s what I'm going to take away and try to pursue into college.”

Arzoo Rozani is a current senior at Senn high school and was a member of Dr. Grella’s lab during the summer ETHOS program. Rozani and her partner Emily Ramirez Macedo worked with mice, focused on data collection and recorded EthoVision videos for their research. “Being so hands-on in the lab… it was very inspiring and I know that’s what I'm going to take away and try to pursue into college,” Rozani said.

Roazani was already interested in STEM prior to her ETHOS experience, but the program allowed her to discover a new pathway within the field. “I realized… I have the passion for research and biology,” Rozani said. “I know when I go to college I'm going to be seeking out those opportunities.”

After graduating high school, Rozani plans to attend a four year university to major in biology. She intends to continue on to medical school and become a pediatrician.
