Michael Nolan has a degree in business administration but, discouraged by the instability of the corporate world, he decided to become a nurse.
Now on track to graduate from the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing's Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program in May 2026, he was recently interviewed in a The Wall Street Journal article, along with Dean Lorna Finnegan, titled "Nursing is the Surefire New Path to American Prosperity."

From Dean Finnegan: “Nursing, I think, is really recession proof. We have an aging population. We have growing chronic illnesses in our population. We also have healthcare expanding outside the hospital.”
The profession of nursing, she said, is "AI proof.”
