Lise Hauser, DNP, RN
Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Lise Hauser holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Chicago, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern University, a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Maternal Child Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Systems Leadership from Rush University.
Dr. Hauser has been a registered nurse since 1988 and has practiced as an Advanced Practice Nurse and Certified Nurse-Midwife, providing full-scope midwifery care from 1994 to 2016. She has served as the director of two nurse-midwifery practices, led Chicago Family Case Management, and held the position of Assistant Director for Public Health Nursing. Her primary clinical focus has been on providing care to underserved populations, including refugee and immigrant communities.
