Chris Kaegi

Director of Evaluation and Survey Research

Oversees and coordinates survey activity across the University

Chris joined Loyola University in 2025, bringing extensive experience in education, analytics, and student success. Prior to Loyola, he was a leader in the Analytics and Reporting group at American Public Education, a large provider of postsecondary education and career training. His career spans roles as an educator—teaching statistics at the University of San Francisco and high school math in the San Francisco Unified School District—as well as consulting for education organizations and leading program management at InsideTrack, a student coaching provider focused on improving student success.

At Loyola, Chris focuses on evaluation and survey analysis efforts across the University, and enjoys exploring how data can be used to improve student outcomes and advance broader institutional goals. Outside of work, he enjoys yoga and plays baseball and rugby with local clubs.
