Taryn Butler

Taryn Butler is a Ph.D. student at Loyola University Chicago. Prior to attending Loyola, she received her Master’s degree in Political Science from Illinois State University, and her Bachelor’s in International Relations from McKendree University. Her research interests are in the international relations subfield, with a focus on secrecy, executive authority, and how democratic leaders frame the control of information in ways that shape transparency and accountability.
