Research Interests

I am interested in studying social-emotional development within the family context, focusing on how early cognitive skills like attention and information processing might shape emotional responses. I’m particularly curious about whether delays in these skills are linked to early emotion regulation difficulties and/or increased risk for psychopathology, and which protective factors might mitigate this risk.
