Jie Cheng is a global business executive and digital transformation leader with 25 years of experience across the food and beverage and personal care industries. She has held senior leadership roles across multiple regions and cultures, driving commercial transformation and digital innovation.
Most recently, Jie served as global vice president and head of digital commerce at Mondelēz International, where she led the transformation and rapid growth of the company’s digital commerce business—scaling it more than fourfold to $3 billion during her tenure.
Prior to Mondelēz, Jie held senior roles at several Fortune 500 companies, including Philips, Danone, Campbell’s, and Hershey, where she drove digital marketing, omnichannel strategy, and growth initiatives across global markets.
Jie is a recognized thought leader in digital and growth marketing. She is a frequent keynote speaker and panelist at major industry events, including Bloomberg Live, ShopTalk, GroceryShop, and the Digital Food & Beverage Summit. Her insights have been featured in Forbes, eMarketer, Retail Brew, and on leading podcasts such as Rethink Retail and Brave Commerce.
In addition to her corporate career, Jie is passionate about business education and leadership development. She began her career as a university lecturer at Wuhan University in China and now returns to the classroom to teach and mentor the next generation of marketing and commercial leaders.
Jie holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA in English Language and Literature from Wuhan University.
