Jorge Diaz

Adjunct Instructor of Management


Professor Jorge Diaz is a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business. With nearly 30 years of experience in human resources and talent strategy, he has led people operations for several major organizations.

He served as Chief People Officer at Fleetmatics (NYSE: FLTX), guiding the company through its 2012 IPO and subsequent acquisition by Verizon, where it became part of Verizon Connect—the world’s largest telematics SaaS provider. After his tenure at Verizon Connect, Jorge held senior HR leadership roles at Coyote Logistics (now RXO) and Katapult (NASDAQ: KPLT), a rapidly growing fintech company focused on expanding access to financial products for non-prime consumers. His earlier career includes positions at State Farm Insurance and GE Healthcare.

In addition to teaching, Jorge works as an executive coach supporting senior leaders, including Quinlan Executive Degree students. He is a certified executive coach through the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute and is credentialed in both Hogan and Insights Discovery assessments.
