Sujin Jeong
Assistant Professor of Management
Sujin Jeong is an assistant professor in the Department of Management at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business.
Her research focuses on two primary areas: multiple jobholding—when individuals engage in more than one income-generating activity—and diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Dr. Jeong’s work on multiple jobholding aims to help individuals make informed decisions about managing multiple work roles and to guide organizations in fostering mutually beneficial relationships with multiple jobholding employees. Her research on diversity, equity, and inclusion addresses gender inequality and career barriers for women, including the gender pay gap and stereotype threats in entrepreneurial careers.
Dr. Jeong employs a range of research methods, including experimental designs, experience sampling, meta-analysis, qualitative interviews, and conceptual reviews. Overall, her research advances understanding of how individuals navigate potentially marginalized identities and promotes more equitable and inclusive workplaces.
