Brian Keiller

Director of Academic Advising

Brian brings over 25 years of experience in higher education, with deep expertise in academic advising for undergraduate and pre-professional students. His work spans a broad range of advising contexts, supporting students across diverse academic pathways with an emphasis on access, persistence, and goal attainment.

As a neurodivergent, non-traditional, and first-generation college graduate, Brian approaches advising through an inclusive, student-centered lens, informed by both professional practice and lived experience. His global background—having been raised in Scotland, educated in the United States, and having worked across eight countries—further shapes his perspective and advising approach.

He is a strong advocate for experiential learning and global engagement, often encouraging students to explore opportunities such as study abroad as part of their academic and personal development.
