Yuxiao (Rain) Luo
Assistant Professor of Information Systems
Dr. Yuxiao (Rain) Luo is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago. His research takes a socio-technical perspective, exploring issues at the intersections of business and technology.
Before joining Loyola, Dr. Luo taught undergraduate courses in data analytics, business statistics, and introduction to information systems, as well as Digital Research Institute (DRI) and R workshops for MS, PhD, and DBA students at Baruch College and The Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY).
His research has been presented at leading academic conferences and organizations, including INFORMS, the Association for Information Systems (AIS), and the Academy of Management (AoM). In addition to his academic work, Dr. Luo develops open-source digital research and literacy resources, including the freely accessible book Data Analytics in Digital Research with R.
