Dan Kamys

Adjunct Instructor


Dan Kamys has been with the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) since 2016 and serves as the association's Director of Content. He oversees media operations that help solidify the MCAA as the national hub of information for the $41 billion masonry industry. Among running the Associations Content, Public Relations, and some Research and Marketing initiatives, he is also involved in the development of restoration and retrofit curriculum and the MCAA's proprietary GEORGE AI system.
This work in technology has contributed to the MCAA's recent appointment to the White House AI In Education Task Force. In addition, Dan launches new media initiatives, like the MASONRY STRONG Podcast which is set to become the MASONRY STRONG Network in 2026. Prior to his work at the MCAA, Dan served as Managing Editor for a private equity-backed food and lifestyle digital media company based in Chicago. Dan is a graduate of the School of Communication at Loyola University Chicago.
