Frank Main
Adjunct Instructor
Frank Main is an investigative reporter who’s covered criminal justice in Chicago for more than 25 years. He focuses on gangs, drug cartels, problems ex-offenders and drug users face, the gun industry, mental health, police issues and criminal courts. He previously was a reporter in the Cincinnati area, in Louisiana and in his home state, Oklahoma, covering politics and courts. He reported in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath, and was in Bosnia and Saudi Arabia to cover wars. He and two Chicago Sun-Times colleagues won the Pulitzer Prize in 2011.
