Judith Kaplan-Weinger

Emeritus Professor of Linguistics, Northeastern Illinois University

Judith Kaplan-Weinger is thrilled to join the adjunct faculty of the School of Communication after 35+ years as a professor of linguistics at Northeastern Illinois University. Her linguistics life has focused on ethnographic approaches to the analysis of communicative interaction, discourse analysis, and sociolinguistics. Judith has authored texts in ethnography, tourism discourse, language teaching, and sociolinguistics.
