Katie Drews
Adjunct Instructor
Katie Drews has spent more than 15 years as a reporter covering government, politics, religion, education and the environment in Chicago and across Illinois. She worked as an investigative journalist for nearly a decade with the Better Government Association, a nonpartisan, nonprofit newsroom focused on government accountability. Her work has appeared in the Chicago Sun-Times, Crain’s Chicago Business, ABC 7 Chicago, FOX 32 Chicago, NBC 5 Chicago, WTTW’s Chicago Tonight, the Daily Herald, the State Journal-Register and the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, among other outlets.
