Randal Minkoff

Randal Minkoff brings expertise as a nationally recognized print and broadcast journalist, and as a partner in media/communication firm The Speaking Specialists. A native of St. Louis, MO and graduate of Drake University's School of Journalism, Randal's career began as editor-in-chief of the student newspaper the Times-Delphic. He served as state news editor then Midwest sports editor for United Press International, covering Super Bowls, World Series, the Kentucky Derby and Indy 500 as well as countless professional and collegiate games. During that time, Randal also served as national television critic and columnist. At WGN Radio, he served as on-air reporter, anchor, and talk show host. Randal also served as a play-by-play announcer for DePaul men's basketball, with the legendary former coach Ray Meyer. He is the author of "For Love of Ivy", the biography of the late Chicago Cub Ron Santo. Randal has also been a regular contributor to Crain's Chicago Business.
