Sue Castorino
Adjunct Instructor
Sue has been fortunate to have had two distinguished careers, first as a broadcast journalist, and now as an educator and communication executive. Graduate of Northwestern University School of Speech, News Anchor and Reporter in Cleveland (NBC) and Chicago (CBS/WBBM). Founder of The Speaking Specialists, specializing in media and communications training for collegiate, professional and Olympic athletes, coaches and well as corporate professionals. Sue ha served as a guest speaker at more than 100 universities on topics such as freedom of speech and the First Amendment, persuasive communication, and Public vs. Private: 21st century media. She also completed a pre-collegiate fellowship with The Ohio Governor's School in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Focusing on public policy issues, this helped to lay the foundation early on for her career path. She is currently an active member of the Screen Actors Guild and serve on the advisory board of Global Traveler magazine.
Sue also currently serves as an advisor to the student-created Journal of Business and Law at Loyola, where articles in these disciplines are contributed by other students. The group also meets to engage in dialogue on related topics and receive extensive professional development.
