Camryn McKee is a Licensed Professional Counselor who joined the wellness center in July 2025. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a double major in Political Science and Sociology and her master's degree from Eastern Illinois University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to working at the Wellness Center, she provided counseling services in both private-practice and community-based mental health settings.
 
Camryn brings a person-centered approach to her work and prioritizes each person’s unique needs, values, and lived experiences in every interaction. She strives to meet people where they are and to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where people feel safe, respected, and empowered to make decisions that are right for them. She also enjoys teaching people DBT skills/strategies including mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. She is passionate about student well-being and is committed to helping students access resources and build resilience during their time at Loyola.  
In her free time, Camryn enjoys traveling, thrift shopping, taking care of her house plants, and snuggling with her two cats.
