Christine Leone is a bicultural and bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined the Wellness Center in January of 2026. Christine received her undergraduate degree from Northeastern Illinois University and her master’s degree from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Christine has spent the last 15 years working in a variety of community mental health agencies and private practice settings in the Chicago area. Most of her experience has been focused on working with those impacted by oppressive systems and harmful power dynamics, particularly in the areas of migration, gender violence and race-based stress. Christine is a certified EMDR therapist who incorporates parts work, somatic therapies and psychoeducation to reduce feelings of shame, increase self-compassion and relational satisfaction. She is affirming of folks with disabilities, neurodiversity, LGBTQIA2S+, diverse relationship structures and cultural identities. Christine speaks Spanish and uses a relational, liberation focused approach with the goal of creating a space that feels safe enough to be your full self.

In her free time Christine likes to be in nature, listen to music, dance and spend quality time with her son, friends and family.
