Ellie is a Graduate Student Counselor who joined the Wellness Center in August of 2025. She received her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Public Health. Prior to joining the Wellness Center, Ellie volunteered in peer support crisis counseling and collaborated on treatment trials for adolescent depression as a research fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health. Ellie currently researches in Loyola’s IMPACT Lab under Dr. Colleen Conley, where she studies mental health across life transitions. She is eager to incorporate mindfulness and ACT into her line of work. When she is not at work, you can find Ellie at listening to live music, on the lake front trail, and exploring Chicago’s restaurant scene.
