Event Refund Policy
Thank you for your interest in Loyola University Chicago Advancement events. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to handle refund requests fairly and consistently. Please review the policy below before completing your registration.
- Non-Attendance
Refunds are not available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. - Refund Deadline
Unless otherwise stated on the event registration page, refund requests must be received at least five (5) business days prior to the event date. - Cancellations After Deadline
Cancellations received after the stated deadline are not eligible for a refund. - How to Cancel
Cancellations must be submitted by email to LUC-ALUM@luc.edu and received by the stated refund deadline to qualify. - Who May Request a Refund
Refund requests will only be accepted from the original credit card holder. - Required Information
Please include the attendee’s full name and/or transaction number with all refund requests to ensure prompt processing. - Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued to the original credit card used for payment. - Event Cancellations by Loyola University Chicago
In the event that Loyola University Chicago cancels an Advancement-sponsored event, all registrants will automatically receive a full refund. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the official cancellation announcement. - Converting a fee into a Charitable Gift
If an individual chooses not to attend the event and wishes to have the event cost treated as a charitable contribution for tax purposes, they must notify Loyola University Chicago Advancement in writing at least five (5) business days prior to the event date, stating that they will not attend and that they wish to contribute the event fee as a charitable donation.
