Alumni Weekend is for the whole family! We look forward to welcoming you to a variety of kid-friendly activities on Saturday and Sunday, especially the events highlighted below.

Saturday, October 18—Lake Shore Campus

BREAKFAST WITH THE ‘BLERS—10:30 A.M.–12:00 P.M. | Gentile Arena
Kick off your day with a light breakfast followed by a unique opportunity to watch an open practice with the Loyola Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams! Rambler fans will have the chance to connect with Loyola athletes and hear from head coaches Drew Valentine and Allison Guth before the 2025-2026 season.

WEST QUAD BLOCK PARTY–12:00–3:00 P.M. | West Quad
Meet us on the West Quad for food and drinks from alumni-owned businesses, face painting, lawn games, and more. Don’t miss alumnus Joe Fingerhut ’99 on stilts!

SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY OPEN HOUSE—1:00–2:30 P.M. | SES Building
The School of Environmental Sustainability invites alumni and friends to tour their facilities, learn about campus sustainability, and hear from students engaged in the Searle Biodiesel Lab and Urban Agriculture programs. This will also be an opportunity to connect with newly appointed SES Dean Malini Suchak, PhD.

MEN’S SOCCER VS. VCU—3:00 P.M. | Hoyne Field
Cheer on Loyola’s Men Soccer at Hoyne Field as they take on VCU! Free transportation to the game will be available starting at 2:00 P.M., departing from the Fr. Damen statue, and back to campus following the game.

STORYTIME IN THE IC WITH THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES—3:30–4:30 P.M. | Information Commons, 1st Floor
Join us for a special storytime hosted by the University Libraries in Information Commons. Loyola alumni authors will read aloud from their own books, making this event perfect for families with preschool-aged children. Come share in the joy of reading together!

Sunday, October 19—Lake Shore Campus

MASS—10:30–11:30 A.M. | Madonna della Strada Chapel
Celebrate Mass with the Loyola community at Madonna della Strada Chapel on Sunday morning.

ALL ALUMNI BRUNCH—10:00 A.M.–1:30 P.M. | East Quad
Enjoy brunch and conversation with fellow Ramblers, friends, and family.

WOMEN’S SOCCER vs. VCU—1:00 P.M. | Hoyne Field
Cheer on Loyola Women’s Soccer as they take on VCU on Alumni Day!

THIRD SUNDAY CHORAL CONCERT—3:00–4:00 P.M. | Madonna della Strada Chapel
All are welcome at Madonna della Strada for a choral concert co-sponsored by the Department of Fine and Performing Arts, featuring Dr. Kristen Hedegaard.
