Fred Tan is the Global Head of Social Impact at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Deputy Director of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Foundation. He develops and executes HPE's social sustainability strategy, leading initiatives that leverage the company's technology, talent, and resources for positive impact. Fred collaborates with customers, third sector partners, and stakeholders to build programs and solutions that connect purpose with profit, while overseeing the implementation of HPE's supplier diversity and corporate social responsibility programs.
Before joining HPE, Fred was most recently at Village Capital, the largest organization in the world supporting impact-driven, seed-stage startups, where he helped drive the organization's global partnerships and strategic growth. Throughout his career in government and consulting, Fred has worked to scale business initiatives, build cross-sector partnerships, and transform organizational performance. He specializes in developing integrated solutions that help leading brands across industries drive revenue growth while managing corporate responsibility and sustainability objectives.
Fred received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University and a Master's in International Security – Global Economic Policy from Sciences Po – Paris School of International Affairs.
