LeShonne W. Quiñones Segura is the Senior Partner at the Luminary Collective, a social impact consulting firm dedicated to empowering organizations and leaders to create lasting change. Through her work, she guides mission-driven organizations and courageous leaders to unlock their full potential and create a more equitable world.
Previously, LeShonne served as the Senior Director of Development and External Affairs at Kids First Chicago, where she was instrumental in shaping the organization's growth and impact. Before that, she was the Manager of Program Investments at The Chicago Public Education Fund, where she was responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of school support programs to their largest cohorts to date.
LeShonne began her career working in schools as a teacher and later went on to hold various leadership roles, including Director of College Counseling at the Noble Network of Charter Schools and Founding Director of Family and Community Engagement at Rowe Elementary.
A native Chicagoan and alumna of Chicago Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Amherst College and a Master's in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education. She has been recognized as a Negocios Now: 40 Under 40 Latino in Chicago, an Education Pioneers Agent of Change, and a Surge Institute Inaugural Fellow. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, dancing, reading, and traveling with her family. LeShonne's journey is a testament to her unwavering commitment to community, joy, and liberation.
