The Impact through Alliance: Chicago Neighborhood Business Series made its second stop in Rogers Park, offering participants a vibrant, community-focused experience that showcased the neighborhood’s cultural richness, entrepreneurial spirit, and deep-rooted commitment to inclusion.
Guided by award-winning Chicago historian and storyteller Dilla, the tour provided an in-depth look at Rogers Park’s local businesses, diverse heritage, and the leaders working to strengthen their community from the ground up. This second stop continued the series’ focus on neighborhood-based economic development—celebrating the power of collaboration, innovation, and place-based impact across Chicago.

10:00 AM – Departure from the Schreiber Center
Board the bus outside the Schreiber Center at Loyola University Chicago (16 E. Pearson St.) for the start of the Rogers Park experience.
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Guided Neighborhood Tour of Rogers Park
Ride through Rogers Park on a curated bus tour led by Dilla. Discover the neighborhood’s deep roots, local businesses, and community-led initiatives that reflect resilience and innovation.
12:00 – 1:30 PM – Panel Discussion at Loyola University Chicago

Hear from local entrepreneurs and community leaders working to build inclusive economic growth in Rogers Park.
