Ruth Gomberg, Director
Ruth Gomberg is a sociocultural anthropologist with research and teaching interests in political economy, migration, Latinos/as in the U.S., race and class, applied anthropology, and urban ethnography. Dr. Gomberg loves to work with students interested in research, internships, public policy work, and other community-engaged projects.
Andy Weber, Fellowship Coordinator
Andy Weber works with students to identify and remove barriers between applicants and fellowship opportunities that match their academic and career goals. This includes finding relevant opportunities, reviewing essay drafts, interview preparation, and post-application support. A former educator for Lincoln Park Zoo, Andy also does a first-rate gibbon impression.
