Community Engaged Design Lab

Advancing Community Engaged Research

The Community Engaged Design Lab  is a collaborative session structured to bring together faculty, students, and community partners to help research projects move forward in an ethical, strategic waywith community realities at the center

The goal of each session is to create a space where collaborators can build community across disciplines and professions, co-design new approaches, and engage with live research problems in order to generate actionable ideas for Chicago’s communities.
