Online Academic Calendar
The online program operates year-round, with three terms per year. Start dates are in September for the fall term, January for the spring term, and May for the summer term. Once the term begins and instructors publish their courses, Sakai is open for students to complete their studies until the specified term end date. Specific dates and deadlines are posted in Sakai each term.
The following academic calendar applies to the following programs: Children and Family Law LLM; Children's Law and Policy MJ; Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management LLM and MJ; Health Law LLM and MJ; and Certificate programs in Privacy Law, Conflict Management, and Cultural Competence, Inclusion and the Law.

Other Important Dates
Every fall, online MJ and LLM students are invited to an in-person Education Immersion Weekend at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. EIWs offer programming to reinforce program learning objectives, provide a venue for networking, and foster communication among students, alumni, and faculty. EIWs are recommended but not required. Attendees have an option to take the EIW for 1 credit hour by enrolling in LAW 682 and completing a 10-12-page paper.
