Cristo Rey Scholars

Cristo Rey Scholars come from Cristo Rey Network schools across the country.

The Cristo Rey Scholarship is a community-centered, faith-based award that supports students who primarily identify as first-generation and/or from limited-income backgrounds. Currently, there are 19 Cristo Rey Scholars enrolled at LUC. All Loyola students who graduated from a Cristo Rey Network school are part of the Cristo Rey Network Alumni (CRNA) community at Loyola.

Cristo Rey Scholars Program includes:

  • Regular meetings with Cristo Rey Program and Academic Advisor
  • Professional and Co-Curricular Workshops
  • Peer Mentorship Program
  • Loyola 360 Retreats
  • Service Opportunities
  • Cristo Rey Student E Board
  • Community building activities in Chicago
  • On-Campus Employment Assistance
  • Access to tutoring resources
