Hindu Students
Campus Ministry supports the Hindu student community in a variety of ways. On the second floor of Damen there is a Hindu social room (238), and a Puja room. Aarti is offered in the Puja, Monday – Thursday at 5:00 p.m. All students are welcome to participate in Aarti.
The Hindu Students' Organization (HSO) is one of Loyola’s most active student organizations and has won several awards. HSO has been at Loyola Chicago since 2002 and in the fall of 2022, celebrated 20 years on campus. Some signature programs include:
- Diwali, the Festival of Lights
- Garba, the celebration of the female form of God
- Holi, the Festival of Colors
