Noman - Ignite Justice Retreat

"I truly loved the Ignite Justice Retreat because somehow, in just two nights, it met me exactly where I was and quietly reshaped how I move through Loyola. It taught me that becoming a better person isn’t about having the right answers, but about learning how to listen, sit with others, and hold space with care. I left feeling softer, more present, and more committed to practicing community in the small, everyday ways that actually matter. "

Ella Cedeno - 360 Retreat

"Loyola 360 was genuinely a pivotal point in my freshman year. It was the first time I felt like I had belonged to a community. It allowed me to take a break from the busyness of the world and explore what I really value in life. I also developed healthy habits that make me feel more accomplished."

Levy Mendoza - 360 Retreat

"Loyola 360 made me recognize that my values and faith can be carried on in Loyola. I was able to deeply reflect upon how I am part of this community. Through this retreat, I learned to be present at the moment while also looking towards the future."

Abby Jennings - Search Retreat

"I absolutely loved this retreat. It challenged me, grounded me, and helped me understand myself in a deeper, more honest way. Experiencing that kind of transformative love, both in community and spiritually, changed how I see my own worth and how I show up for others. It reminded me that love is active, intentional, and something we are called to live out every day. Being able to serve as a student director meant so much to me. It was an incredible privilege to help create that space for others while continuing my own growth. It’s an experience that will stay with me long after I graduate."

Harry Brooker - Search Retreat

"My initial vision for the Search retreat was a little extra time to get closer to God in that perfect retreat environment. Instead, what I found was a deeper connection, not just to God, but to the people and world around me. I now find myself profoundly changed in the way in which I love myself and others. I was deeply consoled and I will hold the experience in my heart for many years to come."

John Yin - Transfer Retreat

"I knew that my first semester after transferring here would be full of challenges and places I would be made to grow. Being able to spend time with and relate to other transfer students at Loyola similarly from non-traditional pathways allowed me to know that I would not be alone in my journey here!"
