The Loyola University Chicago community mourns the death of Ruth E. McGugan, PhD, retired professor in the English department. Ruth passed away at the age of 90 on April 6, in New Orleans.

Ruth was a longtime professor at the Lake Shore and Water Tower campuses as well as at the John Felice Rome Center.
