Students completing a Master of Healthcare Administration, Master of Public Health, Master of Health Informatics, and/or Master of Applied Health Sciences degree are invited to share their research and capstone projects, engage in scholarly discourse, and learn from fellow students and faculty at the annual Evening of Excellence.
This event is open to all students, faculty, staff, and guests of graduating students.

The Celebration of the Magis
Tuesday, May 5, 2026, 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Jo Ann Rooney Hall, Mundelein Center for Fine and Performing Arts
The Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health celebrates all Exercise Science, Healthcare Administration, and Public Health undergraduate seniors with its annual Celebration of the Magis. Magis is a Latin word meaning "more" or "greater" and is related to the phrase "ad majorem Dei gloriam," the motto of the Society of Jesus and Loyola University Chicago. The event recognizes how honorees strive to do better and truly achieve Magis. The Celebration of the Magis recognizes Parkinson undergraduates and their continual drive to learn more and be of service to the greater good." The event is open to all Parkinson undergraduate seniors, faculty, staff, and guests of graduates.
