Lake Shore & Water Tower Campuses
Loyola University Chicago's Department of Conference Services offers on-campus long-term housing for students completing internships in and around Chicago. Our goal is to provide an affordable, safe, and convenient housing option for visiting students from across the country and around the world who need temporary housing.
Intern Housing is available on our Lake Shore Campus (Rogers Park) during the summer months and year-round on the Water Tower Campus (Gold Coast).

Lake Shore Campus (Rogers Park)
Fordham Hall (6455 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago, IL 60626)
The Lake Shore Campus in Rogers Park, just 7 miles north of downtown Chicago, offers summer interns accommodations in Fordham Hall. To submit your inquiry, please download and complete the Lake Shore Intern Housing Contract. Send the completed contract to loyolalodging@luc.edu. Please allow 72 hours for our office to respond to your inquiry.
Water Tower Campus (Gold Coast)
Baumhart Hall (26 E Pearson St, Chicago, IL 60611)
The Water Tower Campus in the Gold Coast neighborhood is in the heart of downtown Chicago. We offer summer interns accommodations in Baumhart Hall. To submit your inquiry, please download and complete the Water Tower Campus Intern Housing Contract. Send the completed contract to loyolalodging@luc.edu. Please allow 72 hours for our office to respond to your inquiry.
Payment
To fully secure your intern housing at Loyola University Chicago, we require the following:
- $1,500 Housing Deposit (non-refundable). This will be applied to the first month's rent and is to be paid in full 7 business days before check-in.
- $500 Security Deposit (refundable). Must be paid in full 7 business days before check-in.
- Certificate of Renters Insurance with at least $100,000 in coverage. Please name Loyola University Chicago as an additional insured. Proof must be presented no later than 7 days before check-in.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), checks, and wire transfers. To pay with a credit card, visit luc.edu/cspayments or click the button below.
