Update on the University Budget

The Loyola University Chicago Board of Trustees has approved the university’s 2026-2027 operating and capital budget. The budget reflects an undergraduate tuition rate and mandatory fee increase of 4.4 percent. This increase will bring Loyola’s annual full-time undergraduate tuition to $56,930. Tuition for most graduate programs will also increase by 4.4 percent. The budget also anticipates just under $358 million for financial assistance to our students, an increase of $35 million over the past two years.

Finance Town Halls Spring 2026

Wayne Magdziarz, Loyola’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will host a series of financial Town Halls for the University community on each campus in March.

Finance Forms Update

New Protected Location for Instructions and Forms Containing Sensitive Data

To reduce the risks of data loss, Loyola University Chicago will begin moving some of its documents and forms that deal with sensitive data to a more secure location. In the coming weeks, some of these forms on the HR and Finance webpages will be updated to require a Loyola login via UVID and password to access. This modification will ensure that only authorized personnel have access to the processes that specifically deal with sensitive information.
