Richa Khatiwada is a final-year PhD student in the Chemistry Department, and an emerging entrepreneur dedicated to building sustainable and equitable ventures. Originally from Nepal, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biotechnology, she brings a global and community-centered perspective to her scientific and entrepreneurial work. Richa strives to lead with equity and open-mindedness, using her computational chemistry expertise to develop organizations that uplift communities, challenge discrimination, and empower individuals with the financial freedom to live meaningful lives. She views leadership as a service that requires active listening, support, and encouraging others to step outside their comfort zones to grow. Through the Gannon Leadership Program, Richa is focused on strengthening her ability to execute her vision by building the strategic, organizational, and leadership skills needed to translate her values into sustainable and transformative impact.
