2017 Baum Lecture Climate Justice: The Struggle for Our Common Home by Mary Robinson

Mary Robinson is a global leader for climate justice and president of the Mary Robinson Foundation for Climate Justice. She was the first female President of Ireland and later served as the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Robinson has also served as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy on Climate and El Niño, and for the Great Lakes region of Africa. A member of The Elders and the Club of Madrid, she continues to shape international action for justice and equality. In 2009, she received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama. Her life’s work reflects the urgent struggle for climate justice — the struggle for our common home.
