Samantha Chambers

PhD student in the Applied Social Psychology


Samantha Chambers is a fourth year PhD student in the Applied Social Psychology program at Loyola University Chicago. Her primary research focus is ableism and disability as a social issue, with a secondary research focus of gender/sex/ual diversity. She is an Instructor of Record in the Psychology department at LUC and serves as lab manager for the Emotion and Social Cognition Lab, led by Dr. Jeff Huntsinger. Sam's goals for participating in the GGL program are to grow as a mentor for teaching and research collaboration, to continue professional development in preparation for her career, and to be able to apply knowledge learned from the program outside of work, such as advocacy.
