Summer Paid Internships for Humanities/Social Sciences PhD Students

In the summer of 2026, Loyola University Chicago is offering an internship program for PhD students in the Humanities/Social Sciences sponsored by The Graduate School. Our internships are designed to provide PhD students the opportunity to explore a potential non-academia career path.

The internships will take place June through August of 2026.  Students who participate will be expected to work 20 hours per week on the internship. Participants will have to complete one informational interview with internship site staff and write a short report at the end of the internship. Interns will be paid a stipend of $4,000.
