Digital Accessibility in Course Design: A Workshop Series for LUC Educators

The Office of Online Learning invites Loyola University Chicago (LUC) educators to an online workshop series focused on digital accessibility. Each session includes instruction, guided practice, and personalized support to help you make your digital course content (e.g., documents shared online, Sakai course lesson pages, audio/video content) accessible. You’ll leave with a customized accessibility plan and the confidence to implement it.
Each of the three sessions covers different topics related to digital accessibility. Register for all sessions or choose the ones most relevant to you. Upon registration, you will receive a link to a self-paced online module that will provide you with an overview of digital accessibility at LUC.

In this session, we discuss this sense of belonging, how it affects students, what factors play into it, and how online instructors can increase it to help their students succeed.

Join us for our session, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Made Easy, to gain a better understanding of how UDL can improve engagement and accessibility while reducing barriers for diverse learners. We’ll break down the UDL framework, outline some ready-to-use teaching strategies, and see how AI tools can streamline and simplify UDL implementation.
