Students seeking to enter the field of Diagnostic Radiology should acquire a solid and broad background in clinical disciplines including Emergency Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Medicine, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics/Gynecology. A student can register for one or more Loyola radiology elective months. If possible, students should consider arranging a research project or case report in radiology during or before the third year of medical school.
